LACQUER
Nassau’s in-house paint shop provides that extra protection of a lacquered coating for those who prefer this option. Finishes such as polished brass, silver, brushed nickel and others are usually lacquered. This final step locks in the beauty of the finish and also provides protection from weathering and wear. A smooth lacquered finish complements the shine providing that high-glossed appearance.

STRIPPING
Process offers clean, dry, low dust, reusable surface preparation products. Selectively strip coatings from aluminum or composite skins and airframes without damage to the substrate.

MASKING
Masking is a use of materials to protect areas from a process and/or to focus on other areas that need to be processed. The Masking Technician is responsible for placing plastic tape, vinyl tape, or rubber plugs on parts using a drawing/blueprint as a guide to doing so.

PASSIVATE
Mainly used on stainless steel but its definitely not limited to it, can also be used on cadmium, copper, silver, zinc and aluminum. A method of removing ferrous contaminants from the surface providing a layer of oxide to retore them to its original corrosion specifications.

SAND BLASTING
The operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, shape a surface or remove surface contaminants.

DRY FILM LUBE
Is coated on operating parts so that they cause little to no frictions while in motion.
